When prescribed and monitored by a qualified hormone specialist, bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT) is generally considered safe. Possible side effects are uncommon, but may include mild soreness at the pellet insertion site, breast tenderness, acne, or increased hair growth. How long do BioTE pellets last?
BioTE pellets typically last 3–4 months for women and 5–6 months for men, depending on individual factors such as metabolism and activity level.
Are BioTE HRT pellets covered by insurance?
Aesthetica does not accept insurance for BioTE treatments. However, we do accept HSA cards and offer payment plans and membership options to help make treatment more affordable.
