Botox typically starts working in 24 hours, up to about two weeks depending on the patient. You will see peak Botox results around 30 days post treatment. Generally, Botox lasts 3 to 4 months, however, results can range from 2 to 6 months depending on the individual and the treatment area.
Is there downtime after Botox?
Botox requires no downtime, however, patients
- Must stay upright for about 3 to 4 hours, or as directed by you Aesthetica provider
- Avoid rubbing, massaging, or pressing the treated area
- Avoid excessive heat and heavy workouts/lifting for 24 hours
- Postpone deep skincare treatments for about 2 weeks, or as directed by your Aesthetica provider (DiamondGlow facials you're okay to wait 24 hours)
- Avoid drinking alcohol for 24 hours to minimize the risk of bruising
What's the best age to start Botox?
The best age to get Botox is when you begin to see fine lines and wrinkles on your face forming from expression lines. Most Botox experts can agree that the best age for Botox is in your mid to late 20's and early 30's.
Can Botox look nautral?
