With eyebrow tattoos, there are different methods: traditional and microbladed. Traditional eyebrow tattoos use traditional tattoo machines to apply eyebrow tattoos. This type of eyebrow tattoo can be much harder to remove and requires more sessions, because of how deep the ink was inserted into the skin.

Microbladed eyebrows are a modern method of eyebrow tattooing and involve the artist applying hair-like strokes under the dermis of your skin using a static blade, rather than a tattoo machine. How are microbladed eyebrows different from traditional eyebrow tattoos?
Microbladed eyebrows use different machines and the ink can be different. With microblading, ink isn’t placed as deep as traditional eyebrow tattoos. For this reason, microbladed eyebrows are much easier to remove and require a lot less sessions than traditional eyebrow tattoos.

For the best results, it’s important to carefully follow the aftercare instructions given to you by your Aesthetica Laser Technician. Overall, patients should avoid:
- Sun exposure
- Tanning beds
- Laser hair removal, chemical peels, botox, or fillers for 24 hours
- Makeup or harsh products for 72 hours post treatment
- Waxing, tinting, and laminating brows 72 hours post treatment
