Aesthetica is here to help you every step of the way to help increase your comfort and give you the best results. From preparing for your HALO laser treatment, to the day of your treatment and after. Below are some tips from our Master Estheticians to help you on your journey for your HALO TRIBRID in Utah!
1-2 Weeks Before
AVOID direct sunlight, tanning beds, self tanners, and high doses of blood thinning medications and supplements (e.g., fish oil, ibuprofen)
DISCONTINUE retinoids (e.g., tretinoin, retinol, AlphaRet), harsh scrubs, aggressive facial treatments, acids, vitamin C, and certain medications and supplements, as directed by your Aesthetica provider
PAUSE waxing, plucking, microneedling, or chemical peel treatment
PREPARE your skin with clinical-grade products recommended by your provider to help with your recovery and treatment such as Plated, Alastin Skin Nectar, SkinCeuticals RGN-6, and sunscreen (SPF 30+) at least 2 weeks prior to treatment
The Night Before
PREPARE by washing your face and hair thoroughly
AVOID any alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin)
APPLY gentle and hydrating skincare products as directed by your provider (e.g., Alastin Skin Nectar, SkinCeuticals RGN-6)
The Day of Treatment
ARRIVE to your Aesthetica appointment with clean, product-free skin wearing loose, comfortable clothing
APPLY topical numbing cream day of appointment at Aesthetica to help keep your HALO TRIBRID treatment as comfortable as possible
PASS UP any alcohol, coffee, and spicy/salty foods
BRING a wide brim hat for post treatment to help protect your skin against the suN
During Treatment
RELAX you’re in good hands at Aesthetica, let your provider know if you have intolerable pain or warmth
After Treatment
IMMEDIATELY AFTER your treatment, your skin may appear red and feel tight, similar to a sunburn, and you may experience swelling for a couple of days
DAY 2–3 your skin may create MENDS, which are microscopic epidermal necrotic debris that create bronzed, sandpaper-like skin texture, and you may experience swelling, continue to cleanse your skin using a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and apply SPF products recommended by your Aesthetica provider, and avoid picking at your skin or using any exfoliating products
DAY 4–5 the MENDS will naturally flake off and your skin may feel tight and dry, continue cleansing your skin with the cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen recommended to you by your Aesthetica provider and avoid picking at your skin or using exfoliating products
2 WEEKS you will begin to see more fresh and radiant looking skin, with full results taking up to 2 months, use skincare products recommended to you by your provider to help maintain your glow

ZO SkinHealth Gentle Cleanser
Massage a small amount on damp face and neck AM/PM. Rinse thoroughly. This formulation is gentle enough for post procedure skin to deeply cleanse oil, makeup, and other impurities.
Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar
Apply 1-2 pumps to treated area AM/PM. Designed to help strengthen skin ahead of cosmetic treatments, enhances treatment outcomes, and reduces recovery time. For best results, use as directed by your provider.
SkinCeuticals Phyto Corrective Gel
As needed, apply 2-3 drops to face, neck, chest, and other areas of the body. This soothing, hydrating gel-serum is formulated with hyaluronic acid plus a blend of botanical extracts including cucumber, olive, thyme, mulberry, and eucalyptus to cool, sooth, and help strengthen the skin barrier. SkinMedica HA5 Hydra Collagen Serum
Apply 1-2 pumps on face and neck AM/PM as the first product in your regimen after cleansing. This formulation attracts and retains water for instant hydration and visibly plump, smooth skin lasting up to 48 hours.
Alastin Restorative Skin Complex
Apply 1-2 pumps on face and neck AM/PM. Supports the skin’s natural ability to produce new, healthy elastin and collagen. It also helps combat all visible signs of aging, brightens and lifts the skin for a more youthful glow.
SkinMedica Even & Correct Brightening Treatment
Apply after cleansing and toning AM/PM. This powerful daily serum helps target and prevent visible hyperpigmentation. It's also hydroquinone and retinol-free.
SkinMedica Neck Correct Cream
