HALO TRIBRID is the world’s first triple-wavelength resurfacing laser. The HALO laser treatment combines three award-winning treatments – HALO, MOXI, and Erbium Resurfacing – into a single advanced treatment that renews the skin at every layer!
What is the recovery time for HALO laser treatment?
HALO laser treatment has little downtime, with initial redness and swelling, which subsides within the first week. After that, your skin will begin flaking off the tiny dark spots on your skin, called MENDS. By the end of week two, you will begin to see healthy, glowing skin, with dramatic improvements in the following 3–4 weeks. Over the next 4–12 weeks, your skin will regenerate new collagen for youthful looking results.

Does HALO TRIBRID hurt?
You may feel warmth and tingling during the session, but with the use of numbing cream, TRIBRID’s cooling system, as well as ProNox, most of our patients find the treatment quite tolerable.

Below are some tips from our Master Estheticians to help you on your journey for your HALO TRIBRID in Utah!
1-2 Weeks Before
AVOID direct sunlight, tanning beds, self tanners, and high doses of blood thinning medications and supplements (e.g., fish oil, ibuprofen)
DISCONTINUE retinoids (e.g., tretinoin, retinol, AlphaRet), harsh scrubs, aggressive facial treatments, acids, vitamin C, and certain medications and supplements, as directed by your Aesthetica provider
PAUSE waxing, plucking, microneedling, or chemical peel treatment
PREPARE your skin with clinical-grade products recommended by your provider to help with your recovery and treatment such as Plated, Alastin Skin Nectar, SkinCeuticals RGN-6, and sunscreen (SPF 30+) at least 2 weeks prior to treatment
The Night Before
PREPARE by washing your face and hair thoroughly
AVOID any alcohol and anti-inflammatory medications and supplements (e.g., aspirin)
APPLY gentle and hydrating skincare products as directed by your provider (e.g., Alastin Skin Nectar, SkinCeuticals RGN-6)
The Day of Treatment
ARRIVE to your Aesthetica appointment with clean, product-free skin wearing loose, comfortable clothing
APPLY topical numbing cream day of appointment at Aesthetica to help keep your HALO TRIBRID treatment as comfortable as possible
PASS UP any alcohol, coffee, and spicy/salty foods
BRING a wide brim hat for post treatment to help protect your skin against the suN
During Treatment
RELAX you’re in good hands at Aesthetica, let your provider know if you have intolerable pain or warmth
After Treatment
IMMEDIATELY AFTER your treatment, your skin may appear red and feel tight, similar to a sunburn, and you may experience swelling for a couple of days
DAY 2–3 your skin may create MENDS, which are microscopic epidermal necrotic debris that create bronzed, sandpaper-like skin texture, and you may experience swelling, continue to cleanse your skin using a gentle cleanser, moisturizer, and apply SPF products recommended by your Aesthetica provider, and avoid picking at your skin or using any exfoliating products
DAY 4–5 the MENDS will naturally flake off and your skin may feel tight and dry, continue cleansing your skin with the cleanser, moisturizer, and sunscreen recommended to you by your Aesthetica provider and avoid picking at your skin or using exfoliating products
2 WEEKS you will begin to see more fresh and radiant looking skin, with full results taking up to 2 months, use skincare products recommended to you by your provider to help maintain your glow

Apply to face 10-15 minutes, or as directed by your provider. This sterilized sheet mask helps distribute heat-reducing water to the skin barrier to help provide relief post procedure.

Alastin HydraTint Pro Mineral Sunscreen
Apply this sunblock as the last step of your skincare routine alone or under make-up and as needed, as directed by your provider. This all-mineral sunscreen is tinted and lightweight to hydrate and protect your skin from harmful UVA/ UVB rays while providing a soft, glowing appearance.
