How does IPL PhotoFacial work?
Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is a non-laser therapy that involves shining highly-concentrated, intense beams of light intermittently on the surface of the skin. The pulses of light target pigment and vascular irregularities, smoothing out the skin’s tone and texture.

Does IPL have side effects?
IPL therapy involves short, intense pulses of light being delivered to the skin. As a result, you may experience small raised bumps and redness in the treatment area shortly after your treatment. These bumps should vanish within a few days. Common side effects are redness and mild swelling, but most people can return to normal activities directly after the treatment.
How long is an IPL treatment?
A typical treatment can last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes. Since there is little to no downtime, you can have an IPL treatment during your lunch break.
