Is there downtime?
Patients may experience mild bruising and swelling following a PDO thread treatment. Patients may immediately resume your daily activities after the procedure. Strenuous activities should be resumed after a couple days to a week. Please consult with your Aesthetica Nurse Injector for further instructions.
Are there any side effects?
Common side effects include soreness, minor bruising, swelling and mild discomfort. If you experience any other complications or an extended period of the side effects, please consult with your provider.
Is the procedure painful?
Aesthetica's providers will normally administer local anesthesia prior to the procedure. You may feel pressure during the insertion of the threads and/or hear the "clicking" sound of the threads, but you should feel minimal pain during the procedure.
